KNAUF
Between 2019-2020, we collaborated with Knauf, a premier global manufacturer of building materials and construction systems, to elevate their digital offering. Our focus was on revamping e-commerce and logistics solutions within the B2B landscape. Poland was one of four countries in this multi-national initiative.
Our Contribution
User Research: Conducted multiple rounds of both remote and in-person contextual user interviews to gain a deep understanding of user needs and preferences.
Shadowing & Diary Surveys: Implemented shadowing and diary survey studies, providing insights into user behaviors and daily challenges. Prototype Testing: Evaluated product prototypes to ensure they met user and market requirements.
Creation Center / Deutsche Telekom
Between 2013 and 2018 we’d been involved in multiple projects at the Creation Center of Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Berlin. Creation Center was one of the first corporate labs to practice Design Thinking.

Schmitz-Cargobull
In 2021-2023 Andrzej worked with Schmitz-Cargobull’s KUBIKx as an Innovation Process Manager with the aim of bringing start-up ventures to market.
He was responsible for user and market research studies, remote and offline workshop facilitation with multiple stakeholders in a complex B2B environment, as well as value proposition and business model design for start-up and venture projects.
Exemplary projects and ventures include:
– Driver experience and information platform for truck delivery destinations.
– CO2 footprint and reduction in road logistics.
– User journey mapping with dispatchers.

ANDRZEJ KAREL
Andrzej has worked as an innovation coach and user researcher since 2012, with companies such as Deutsche Telekom, Viessmann, UCANDO, Knauf, Nike, ESCP Berlin, Hella, Klöckner & Co and PKO BP.
In 2021-2023 worked as innovation manager at KUBIKx, a venture builder of Schmitz Cargobull.
He graduated in 2013 from basic & advanced tracks of the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam (D-School).
He’s a co-author of Service Design po polsku, a 2018 book published by PWN and of Creative Clues tool – reusable stickers for ideation and co-creation sessions.
Patrycja Radek
Patrycja has been involved in the development of innovative projects since 2013, initially at the R&D center of EIT+ in Wrocław, where for 6 years she headed the center’s business development department. At the same time, with the completion of a research internship at UC Berkeley, she began leading projects based on design thinking.
She has been an innovation broker at SWPS University for 4 years, and has been involved as a mentor in technology startup development for 8 years.
Patrycja is a PhD candidate, her academic work focuses on leadership effectiveness in R&D teams.
Linda Klimesch
Linda helps hardware and software teams to deliver value in complex environments. Collaboration, transparency, flow and continuous improvement are her focus.
She has over 10 years’ experience in agile product development, having worked at Continental, Deutsche Telekom, and Native Instruments.
She is currently responsible for the agile way of working at the R&D department of a medtech company, advising 19 teams.
